AC Milan interested in Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot
Serie A outfit AC Milan look set to come back in for Manchester United and Portuguese international right-back Diogo Dalot this summer, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Milan had previously approached the club on another loan deal for the coming season but fell short of the desired loan fee.
AC Milan are preparing a new bid to Manchester United for Diogo Dalot. Loan with buy option to be offered again – but improving the loan fee 🔴 #MUFC #ACMilan
Man Utd want around €4/5m loan fee + buy option included. Ancelotti loves him but Real Madrid not an option, as of now.

Dalot, who was with the Portuguese squad at Euro2020 this summer while making two appearances for his country, had already spent time in the Italian fashion capital last season where he made a combined 34-appearances for I Rossoneri.
The 22-year-old Braga-native and FC Porto youth academy product has failed to nail down a place in the Manchester United first-team since making his move to Old Trafford back in 2018, with much of the frustration coming by way of a series of injuries rather than a lack of requisite quality.
Interest from Milan can be traced back to as early as March after Dalot did well to establish himself at the San Siro, with other clubs the likes of Real Madrid and Everton keeping an eye on the young right-back.
But Milan should be able to seal a deal for a player that has already spent the previous season settling into the team and on the back of form that netted him his first caps for the full Portuguese side after being a key feature at all youth levels from U15-U21.
Manchester United is unlikely to be an avenue for growth for Dalot, with Aaron Wan Bissaka being the undisputed first-choice right-back at Old Trafford coupled with the emergence of England U21 youngster Brandon Williams who is vying for the second birth.
