According to reports, Man City duo Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva have had “their heads turned” by interest from European clubs. This comes as Pep Guardiola’s side chase Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.
The Premier League champions are being heavily linked with Kane and Grealish this summer.
Kane told Tottenham that he wants to leave the club before Euro 2020.
It was reported last week that Daniel Levy had given Kane the green light to sign for City in a deal worth around £160m.
At the weekend, it was revealed that Kane will miss Tottenham’s Premier League opener against City due to injury.
Man City have been consistently linked with Grealish over the past few months. They are said to be plotting a £215m double deal for the England duo.
Guardiola’s side are expected to sell a couple of their valuable assets should they sign Kane and Grealish.
Among those being linked with a move away are Jesus and Silva. The Sun have reported that the attacking duo have now “had their heads turned”.
This comes as European clubs are showing interest in them. The report adds that as of now, there have not been any “suitable offers” submitted.
“As soon as he put out his statement a couple of months ago, just before the Euros, it was happening, for me,” Sheringham told talkSPORT.
“I think he’s probably had a chat with Daniel Levy. I know there’s been even more speculation over the last couple of days, but I think he’s probably had a chat and said, ‘look, you’ve been a great servant to the club, if we get the right money for you, you can go’, I would think.
“Everyone is being very quiet on it at the moment, but for Harry Kane to come out and say he wants to play with someone like Kevin De Bruyne and the players at Manchester City, the writing has got to be on the wall, hasn’t it?”
