Gabriel, match-winner Odegaard & more take to social media to celebrate Arsenal’s downing of Burnley

A number of Arsenal stars have taken to social media this evening, to provide their reactions to the club’s hard-fought victory over Burnley.

Odegaard makes the difference

Mikel Arteta’s men were back in action on Saturday afternoon.

After putting a dismal opening to the campaign behind them courtesy of a 1-0 downing of Norwich City last time out, the Gunners made the trip to Turf Moor, aiming to make it two wins on the trot.

And, when all was said and done in Lancashire, this is precisely what Arsenal went on to do, courtesy of a similar scoreline.

A solitary goal proved all that was required for the North Londoners on the day, netted by Norwegian creator Martin Odegaard on the half-hour mark.

After Bukayo Saka was downed on the edge of the Burnley area, the summer arrival at the Emirates stepped up to bend a sumptuous effort beyond the clutches of Nick Pope:

‘Step by step’

In turn, on the back of a trio of successive defeats to open the season, Arsenal’s stars could be forgiven for getting somewhat swept up in the celebrations of another timely 3-point haul.

And, as outlined above, on Saturday evening, this is precisely what a number of Mikel Arteta’s men have opted to do.

Taking to social media, the likes of match-winner Odegaard, fellow summer signing Aaron Ramsdale and the ever-impressive Gabriel Magalhaes all expressed their delight, with the posts in question showcased below:
